He is survived by: his wife Mary Zwiefelhofer of Colfax; his children, Deanna Vahlenkamp (Ronald) of Bloomer, Joseph Schindler of Colfax and Wayne Schindler (Patricia Nowak); his brother Kenneth Schindler (Ione) of Chippewa Falls; his grandchildren, Vincent Vahlenkamp (Lindsey), Vanessa LaMeer (Luke), Marissa Vahlenkamp (Colten Seibel), Preston Vahlenkamp (Kathryn Freagon) and Jake Schindler; his great grandchild Bryleigh Vahlenkamp; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Schindler of Chippewa Falls and Sharon Schindler of Roscoe, IL..
