He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Louise Rothbauer Sr. (Mickesh); his wife Leona; his great grandchild Logan; and his siblings, Rita Goulet, Dorothy Goettl, Marvin, Leon Rothbauer, Dolores and Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Roseanne Schneider (Jim) of Tilden, Robert Rothbauer (Jan) of Tilden and Roger Rothbauer (Renee) of Cooks Valley; his grandchildren, Stacy, Danielle, Brandon, Katie, Mindy and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Carter, Greyson, Oliver, Gabe, Mitchell, Brady, Jack, Brekyn and Olivia; and his siblings, Sylvia Blodgett of Chippewa Falls and William Rothbauer Jr. of Chippewa Falls.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Chippewa Valley Cremation Services (1806 17th Ave, Bloomer, WI 54724). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (4540 WI-40, Bloomer, WI 54724). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
