He was predeceased by: his parents, David Metcalf and Loretta Metcalf (Schoonover); his sister Margaret "Margie" Maire (Tom); and his brothers-in-law, Clint Schimmel and Jim Stuckert.
He is survived by: his sons, Travis Metcalf of Bloomer, Jamie Metcalf (Angie) of Menomonie and Chris Metcalf of Chippewa Falls; and his siblings, Janice Schimmel of Chetek, Elaine Stuckert (Ron Shield) of Bloomer, Sue Nehring (Gary) of Bloomer, Edwin Metcalf (Sandra) of Bloomer and Bruce Metcalf (Patricia) of New Auburn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
