He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kouba and Ella Kouba (Marquardt); his wife Kathleen M. Ruff; and his parents-in-law, Arthur, Myrtle Ruff (Schwab), Donald, Joanne Kouba (Bergeron), Angeline (Kouba), Norbert Berg, Clarence Kouba, Henry Ruff, Jeanette (Kouba) and Robert Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Kouba (Nancy) of Webster, Charles Kouba (Deone) of Bloomer, Mary Ann Kouba (Les Karpiel) of Chetek, Madonna Bigelow (John) of Sun Prairie, Paul Kouba (Mary) of Bloomer, Rita Kouba (James Morning) of Bloomer and Rosanne Smith (Colby) of Stoughton, Wisconsin; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Ruff of Bloomer, Helen Kouba of Chippewa Falls and Francis Ruff of Trenton, KY. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
