He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Amanda; and his siblings, Delbert Rediger, Arnold Rediger, Robert Rediger, Velna Oldenberg and Mavis Steinmetz.
He is survived by: his grandfather Beep; his wife Carole; his daughters, Kim Siverling (Steve), Jackie Lewis (Gordy) and Cindy Daleiden-Rediger; his grandchildren, Jared Siverling (Vanessa), Emilie, Sarah, Bryce Siverling, Travis Schultz and Luke Daleiden-Rediger (Aliana); and his sister Delorus Pauling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mervin experienced many health concerns over the years and faced his toughest challenge when diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
