He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Tandberg and Martha Tandberg (Christensen); his wife Wanda Eastland; his son Dean Tandberg; and his brother Howard Tandberg.
He is survived by: his son Brian Tandberg (Ann) of New Auburn, WI; his sisters, Carol Hisdahl of Minnesota and Corrine Haglund of California; his grandchildren, Greg Tandberg, Adrienne Marino, Laura Shaughnessy, Francesca Huelsman and Cedric Holecek; and his close friend Marilyn Johnson of Amery. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
