He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Delphine Hurt, Sr. (Spath); his brother Jerome Hurt; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Hunt, Danny Duval and Greg Seidling.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, James "Jimbo" Hurt (Joyce) of New Auburn, Ronald "Ron" Hurt (Laura) of Chippewa Falls, Charles "Chuck" Hurt (Kris) of Chippewa Falls, Debra "Debbie" Hurt of Bloomer, Rebecca "Becky" Maurice (Tim) of Sharpsville, PA and Laurina "Lolly" Hurt of Chippewa Falls; and his siblings, Wallace Hurt of Bloomer, John Hurt (Ramona) of New Auburn, Marian Hunt of Chippewa Falls, Sylvia Jennings (Joe) of Spirit Lake, Teresa Duval of Barnes and Valeria Seidling of Winter. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
