She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Vail; her parents, Gregory Goettl and Marie Goettl; her brother Tom (VerJean Goettl); and her siblings-in-law, Charles Vail and Nathalie Troland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Ruff (Bill), Jan Melberg, Jennifer Marek (Butch) of Bloomer, Mary Paulus (John) of Bloomer and Laura Sarauer (Charles) of Bloomer; her brother Jim Goettl (Ramona); and her brother-in-law David Troland. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
