He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Metcalf and Ella Metcalf; and his siblings, Vernon, Marvin and Wendy Metcalf.
He is survived by: his wife Elva L. Klaar of New Auburn; his children, Wayne Metcalf (Laurie) of New Auburn, Laureen Bush (Tom) of Weyerhauser, Lloyd Metcalf of New Auburn and Kevin Metcalf (Danielle) of New Auburn; and his siblings, Veryl, Terry (Sharon), Merton (Diane), Maurice (Linda), Randy, Bradley Metcalf, Sandra Larson, Anita Jones, Cheryl Amodt, Gloria Lemke, Jeanette Wilson (Lee) and Gwen Waldecker. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
