He was predeceased by: his parents, William Biesterveld and Elizabeth Biesterveld; his wife Kathleen Kane; and his siblings, Wilma Wittig, Patricia Ulwelling, Judith Fagerland, Robert Biesterveld and Gerald Biesterveld.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Biesterveld (Tricia) of Eau Claire and Monica Handrahan of Bloomer; his grandchildren, Damian Hughes (Ericka), Christian Handrahan, Alyssa Drinkman, Erikka Ashwell, Samantha Biesterveld (Tanner Wilson) and Brianna Biesterveld; his great grandchild Nakiah Drinkman; and his siblings, Irma Bauer (Don) of Durand, William Biesterveld of Rock Falls, Audrey Biesterveld of Eau Galle and Roger Biesterveld (Julie) of Tilden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Chippewa Valley Cremation Services (1806 17th Ave, Bloomer, WI 54724). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
