He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Goecks and Gertrude Goecks (Burkhalter); his brother LeRoy Goecks (Therese); and his in-laws, Hjalmar, Amy Duffy, Gene, Linda Duffy, Jerry, Lucille Duerst and Ruth Ann Duffy.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Duffy; his children, Julie Goecks-Platteville and Jeff Goecks-Blanchardville (Lisa); his granddaughter Amanda Bjyrd; his great grandchildren, Alana, Alvin, Braxton, Ema, Landen, Leland and Makena; his siblings, Kathy Wyss (Bill) and Lonny Goecks (Marcia) of Franklin, WI; his niece Debra Adler; and his in-laws, Bob, Alice Yaeger, Don, Delores Larson and Elton Duffy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Relatives and Friends Zentner-Beal Funeral Home (29 6th Ave, New Glarus, WI 53574). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Primrose Lutheran Church (8770 Ridge Dr, Belleville, WI 53508).
