We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, at the age of 53, Joni Hermanson of Blanchardville, Wisconsin, born in Monroe, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joni Hermanson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Hermanson; her nephew Wesley Gilbertson; her brothers-in-law, Keith Gilbertson and Ted Gilbertson; and her sister Jeanie Gilbertson.
She is survived by: her mother Doris Berniece Hermanson (Johnson); her fiancé Jeff Pefley (Christian Mingle); her siblings, Linda Hanson (Argyle), Kathy Gilbertson (Blanchardville), Karen Ingwell (Scott) and Alan Hermanson (Monroe); her nieces and nephews, Irene Gilbertson Cooper (Terry), Sara Gilbertson Ihm (Todd), Jennifer Hanson (Mike Zuhlke), Jason Hanson (Karen Brunton), Brenda Gilbertson, Amanda Ingwell Fowler (Boyd), Heidi Ingwell (Justin Sanford), Morgan Gilbertson, Cody Hermanson and Ashley Hermanson (Damian Dressler); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shawn Hanson (Andrea McGowan), Alex Cooper, Ian Cooper, Mikayla Hanson, Shanika Perdue, Keiley Perdue, Tessa Hanson, Samantha Ihm, Bo Hanson, Zachary Ihm and Braxton Hermanson; and her godchildren, Ayden York, Collin Moen and Amanda Fowler (Ingwell).
A walk-through visitation with brief visiting with the family due to the COVID pandemic, with the wearing of masks and social distancing required will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Blanchard Hall on Main Street in Blanchardville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Iowa County Cancer Coalition, Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville and Upland Hills Hospice Care.
