With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard McGowan (Blanchardville, Wisconsin), born in Argyle, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 2, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, C. R. McGowan (Dick) and Lizzie McGowan (Buetzer). He is survived by: his wife Joan of Blanchardville; his children, Michael McGowan (Lori) of Verona, James McGowan of Mount Horeb and Steven McGowan (Laura) of Perkasie, PA; his grandchildren, Amanda Hankel (Brian), Matthew McGowan (Brittany Innes), Megan (Scott Murray), Sean, Connor McGowan, Ross, Tom (Mariana Gama), Justin Stadelman, Katlyn and Zachary McGowan; his great grandchildren, Haddie and Emilia Hankel; his sister Helen Johnson (Ralph "Sonny") of Wiota; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Weidenfeller of Muskego, Dennis Weidenfeller (Mary Anne) of Lake Mills and James Weidenfeller (Claire) of Hillsborough, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
