It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Belva Ekern of Blair, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Johnson and Gena Johnson (Mickelson); her husband James Ekern; and her siblings, Esther Roseth, Harold and Ralph Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald (Judy), Kenneth (Carol), James Jr. (Sharon) and Valerie Schorbahn (Allen); her sister Alice Herried; her sister-in-law Jean Johnson; and her nieces, Donna and Nancy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.
