He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nelson and Ruth Nelson (Tranberg); his parents-in-law, Bill and Lucille Swanson; and his sister Ruth Ann Nelson (Tuti).
He is survived by: his wife June; his son Dennis Nelson (Shana); his brothers, Steven Nelson (RaeDelle) and Rick Nelson (Lisa); his sister-in-law Tina Beiles (Barry); and his grandchildren, Raena and Kaitlynn Nelson. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
