It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Allen Johnson of Blair, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Gina Johnson (Anderson); his siblings, Hensel Johnson (Lilah), Jeanette Nyen (Vernon) and Duane Johnson; his brother-in-law Merlin Thompson; his son-in-law Len Abrahamson; and his great grandchild Jackson Holmen.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Thompson; his children, Lynnette Johnson (Mike) of Ettrick, Kristy Abrahamson of Blair, Darcy Olson (Dan) of Whitehall and Dayton Johnson (Lisamarie) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Tina Thompson (Scott), Joe Olson (Sam), Jenny Holmen (Justin), CeCe Tamez, Jaron Johnson, Halle Johnson and Carah Johnson (Rose); his great grandchildren, Faith Olson, Caydie, Ellie Thompson, Lucas Holmen and Jemma Jo Olson; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Johnson, Sandy Pfaff, Cliff Thompson (Mary) and Dennis Thompson (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
