He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Peterson and Verna Peterson (Lindberg); his daughter Jenna; and his siblings, Lana Anderergg, Lyle Peterson, Janet Burki and Darlene Farnsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Longseth; his children, Jarrod Peterson and Mara Gerndt (Scout); his grandchildren, Delorean Peterson, Layla Peterson and Ellison Gerndt; and his siblings, Fern Peterson and Dean Peterson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fagernes Lutheran Church (W19727 County Rd N, Blair, WI 54616). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
