He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emil Bidstrup and Clara Bidstrup; his sister Marcella (Nielsen); his wife Betty; his children, Kären Gueldenzopf (Robert), Karla Bidstrup and Kai Bidstrup (Susan); his grandchildren, Carly Griffis (Nic), Evan Spencer, Elizabeth Bidstrup and Margaret Bidstrup; his great grandchildren, Audrey Davis, Andrew Davis, Rose Griffis and Luke Griffis; and his grandson Aaron Davis (Ana).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, for facility maintenance.
