He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hinrichs and Margaret Hinrichs (Wedemeier); his wife Verla; his brother Donald Hinrichs; his son Ryan; and his granddaughter Maggie Hinrichs.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Hinrichs (Jane) of Lantry, SD, Suzanne Starczynski of Madison, WI and Amanda Killian (Steven) of Blair, WI; his stepsons, Jeff Panek (Kathryn) of Johnston, IA and John Panek (Amanda) of Bettendorf, IA; and his siblings, Dwight Hinrichs (Sandy) of Tripoli, IA and Judy Hinrichs. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Darrel's family for later designation.
