He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Helstad and Gina Helstad (Gimse); and his sisters, Mariann Stenberg and Aloydis Eckman. He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Johnson; his daughters, Pamela Anibas (Nathan) and Linda Schaller (Matthew); his grandchildren, Kaili, Jacob Gardner, Maryann and Mark Anibas; his great grandchild Camden Gardner; and his brother Verdell.
