She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Peterson and June Peterson (Iverson); her in-laws, Harold and Leta Bennett; her son Wyatt; her grandson Cody Bennett; her brothers-in-law, George, Lyle, Don, Larry Bennett, Roger Griffen and Steven Hoff; her siblings, Forest Peterson Jr., Linda Hoff and Bernadine Griffen; and her sister-in-law Barbra Peterson.

She is survived by: her husband Terry Bennett; her sons, Terry (Gloria), Greg (Kelly) and Christian (Nikki); and her sisters, Carol Mullen (Frank) and Debra Zeller (Jerome). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Zona remained and avid fisher and hunter up until recent years when her Parkinson's advanced.
