She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Stenulson and Gunda Stenulson (Thompson); her husband Carl Kalstad; and her siblings, Richard, Gustave, Alfred, Eugene, Alvin, Henry and Gladys.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Kalstad (Debra) and Jerry Kalstad; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Nathan; and her great grandchild Elijah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
