He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dowiasch and Verna Dowiasch (Bahr); his children, Geri and Rob; his brother Joseph; and his niece Sharon Brink.
He is survived by: his wife LeIlah Kerska; his children, Ken (Rosie) of Foster, Deb Heinisch (Earl) of Hudson, David of Coon Valley, Arlan (Jean) of Coon Valley and Mari Larson (Rodney) of Westby; and his daughter-in-law Christine Dowiasch. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
