He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Vanderploeg (Olson) and Wilfred A. Vanderploeg. He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Vanderploeg (Ruth), Jim Vanderploeg (Sheila) and Barbara Brasic (Pete); his nieces and nephews, Tiffany Wuensch (Matt), Joseph Collins (Lynn), Michael Vanderploeg (Nora), Tony Vanderploeg (Jennifer) and Haylee Browning (Jim); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zane, Nolan, Noah, Taylor, Porter, Brooks and Austin.
