It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Renee Blackdeer of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Clifford Blackdeer, Francis and Ruby Garvin; and her uncles, Randall Blackdeer Sr. and Ronald Decorah.
She is survived by: her parents, Eileen Blackdeer and Larry Garvin; her aunt Betty Blackdeer; her children, Cherisse, Jay Jr. and Laura Cherwenka; her siblings, John Blackdeer, Henu, Larry and Quincy Garvin; her grandsons, Jay III and Dawson; her nieces, Kiara and Kanani; and her nephew Keoni Blackdeer. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
