Lois Marie Smetana Obituary
In loving memory of Lois Marie Smetana (Black River Falls, Wisconsin), who departed this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thone Karnitz and Selma Karnitz; her husband Bernie; her brother Kenneth; her sister-in-law Virginia; and her nephew Kerry Karnitz.
She is survived by: her children, Lori (Jeff Swiggum), Lisa (Thomas Seifert), Mark (Karen), Brian (Lou Olson) and Beth (John Steindorf); her grandchildren, Rachel Smetana-Knudsen (Dane Knudsen), Nicole Smetana, Olivia Steindorf-Berg (Kaden Berg) and Sgt. William Steindorf; and her great grandchild Landen Knudsen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Buswell Funeral Home (106 S 2nd St, Black River Falls, WI 54615). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be addressed to Friends Sharing Food, Interfaith Caregivers and the Boys and Girls Club.
