He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Mason (Peterson) and George Mason; his brother Max; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Arlene Swiggum.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Bill (Dana), Michael and Mary Hammond (Earl); his grandchildren, Madilyn Vinstra (Alec), Abby Mason, Max, Samantha Hammond, Brennan and Sara Mason; and his niece Michelle Bennet (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Black River Interfaith Caregivers, Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice.
