He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nicholas and Dorothy Nicholas (Franks); his son Joshua Nicholas; his parents-in-law, Roger and Trudy Buswell; and his siblings, Michael Nicholas and Sally Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nicholas (Buswell); his sons, Theran Nicholas of Madison, WI and Luke Nicholas (Leah Parish) of La Crosse, WI; and his sisters, Patricia Aduddle of Arizona and Nikki Sund (Mark) of Sparta.
