He was predeceased by: his grandfather Terry Russell. He is survived by: his parents, James Russell and Kimberly Russell (De Smet); his brothers, Christopher, Matthew, Dustin, Jesse, Thomas and William Russell; and his grandparents, Timothy, Debra De Smet and Brenda Russell-Stenli (Jerry Stenli).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tyler's family for a fund to be established.
