He was predeceased by: his grandson Augustin Vivienne Poast; and his nephew Stephen Caputo. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Danz; his children, Brenda Carlson (Rich) of Black Earth, Janeen Duhr (Tim) of Black Earth, Bryan Poast of Black Earth, Greg Poast (Holly) of Sauk City and Laurie Poast of Bergen, Norway.; his grandchildren, Andrew Carlson (Kristin), Ashley Carlson, Kasey Conn (Austin), Karissa Duhr (Ozgur Calbay), Zach Duhr, Logan, Ethan, Marin Poast, Leikny and Aurélie Poast; his great grandchildren, Jack, Cora Carlson, Matthew, Hailey, Aubrey Conn and Elroy Seffrood-Poast; his sister Avis Caputo; and his brother-in-law Leland Danz. He is also survived by one niece, and five nephews.
