He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Hallick and Elaine Hallick. He is survived by: his wife Jamie Hallick; his sons, Erick (Barb) and James Hallick (Chulee); his grandchildren, Lily, Erick, Ethan and Hannah Hallick; and his brothers, Nicholas and Mark Hallick (Deidre).

John supported many causes, in lieu of flowers please consider a donation in John's name to the Mayo Clinic for cancer research, MOM Food bank, or Vermont Lutheran Church.
