He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Klitzke and Carol Klitzke; his brothers, Buster and Jeffrey Klitzke; and his grandparents, Ervin, Florence Felton, Hadwick and Paul Klitzke.

He is survived by: his sisters, Connie VandeHei (David) and Amy LuMaye (Dick); his sister-in-law Pat Klitzke (Buster); his close friend Leslie Calkins; and also Maria Calkins. He is also survived by his ten nieces and nephews.
