He was predeceased by: his father Albert Theobald; his parents-in-law, Erwin and Helen Stingle (Baumann); his brothers, Donald Theobald and Eugene "Geno" Theobald; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Theobald and Vernon Stingle (Nancy).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Theobald; his children, Susan Meyer (Daniel), Gerald Theobald and John Theobald (Barbara); his grandchildren, Nicole Beyer-Simon (Michael), Natalie Jacobson (Jason), Virginia Meidam (Jed), Matthew Beyer (Dallas Kennedy), Noah Theobald, Abbie Theobald, Joshua Meyer (Julie) and Jennifer Blaser (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Kaylee Simon, Ramona Meidam, Beckham Jacobson, Rula Beyer, Lincoln, Evangeline, Theodore Blaser and Beckham Kennedy; his siblings, Pete Theobald (Pat), Wilfred Theobald, Sylvester Theobald (Rita), Ray Theobald (Anita) and Barbara Crawford (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Carol "Kelly" Theobald, Janet Springstroh (Arlin), Mary Ann Nettekoven (Ronald), Adele "Dolly" Mleziva (Donald), Terry Stingle (Amy), Merlin Stingle (Charlotte), Kathleen Micke (Eugene), Darrel Stingle (Dawn) and David Stingle (Cheryl Pagel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
