He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Abby Jo; his siblings, Bill and Phyllis Anderson; his nephew Michael Borchardt; his brothers-in-law, Robert Smith, Dean Anderson and Robert Kiefer, Sr.; his mother-in-law Darlene "Dolly" Lyons; and his pets, Katie, Petro, Buck, Fred and Harley.
He is survived by: his wife Dorene "Dorie" Lyons; his sons, Daniel Jr., Don and Darryl; his grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Isabella and Colt; his pets, Izzy Be and Rosie; his sisters, Betty Smith, Margie Jones (Glenn), Joannie Kiefer, Irene Holbrook, Ellen Bellin (Robert) and Judy Van Eperen (David); his sister-in-law Mary Hegner; his father-in-law Tom Lyons; his siblings-in-law, Tom (Dawn), Todd (Terra) and Denene Malone; and his nieces and nephews, John, Leon, Robert Jr., Eric, Jason, Adam, Dave Jr., Bill Jr., Lorie, Jennifer, Lisa, Kristine, Bethany, Sara, Victoria, Stacy, Violet and Theresa. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
