Betty Spranger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Spranger (Black Creek, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 28, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Kappell and Sylvia Kappell (Haver); her siblings, Marge Rollo, Beverly Kappell, Donald Kappell and Robert "Whitey" Kappell (Joyce); her brothers-in-law, Donald Spranger and Myron Spranger (Helen); and her foster daughter Sue Knott.
She is survived by: her former husband Eugene "Gramps" Spranger; her husband Philip Slinger; her children, Nancy Spranger, Sue Fischer, Kathy Schmidt (Randy), Bill Spranger, Jim Spranger (Cheryl) and Eugene Jr. "Smiley" Spranger; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Kappell of Appleton, Carol Spranger of Appleton, Shirley Salerno of Appleton and Reiko Spranger of Appleton. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous foster children.
