He was predeceased by: his parents, Thorval Olson and Doris Olson (Holbrook); and his sister Betty Pierce (Gordon). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Carlson; his sons, Michael (Toni), Kurt (Cindy) and Jack (Danielle); his grandchildren, Todd (Cindy), Brent (Jordyn), Shelly Spaay (Karl), Katrina, Kurt Jr. (Krysta), Steven (Aleshia) and Cody; his great grandchildren, Carter, Luke, Evan, Emma, Reid, Brayden and Declan; and his sister-in-law Connie Balis.
