He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed West and Nellie West; his spouse Fran West; his daughter Laurie West; his brothers-in-law, Jon, Don and Glen Conwell; his grandson Thomas Vernon West; and his great grandchild Corbin Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Rick West (Anna) of Antigo, Mike West (Barb) of Elton, Brad West (Jen) of Wausau, Tammie Pranke (Phil) of Two Rivers, Deann Waldner (Jack Wojnowiak) of Birnamwood and Denise West of Milwaukee; and his siblings, Ruth Pratt (Mike), Rosie Rank (Dennis), Mick West (Linda) and Reese West (Melanie). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
