He is survived by: his children, Tammy Pestka and Ashley Berger (RB); his grandchildren, Adam Pestka, Skyler Berger and Piper Berger; his siblings, Donna Hance, Cindy Evans (Ken Hayes), Geri Hamilton (Dale), Paul Lex (Mikki), Jeanne Zalewski (Pat), Vicki Anunson (David) and Carrie Anderson (Ryan); and his close friend Donna Karcz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
