He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Schmidt of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Randall Schmidt (Sandy), Judith Resch (Andrew), Lauri Klumpyan (Mark) and Todd Schmidt (Kelly); his son-in-law Joel Creydt; his grandchildren, Jeremy Schmidt (Trisha), Eric Resch (Alicia), Kyle Resch, Cody Schmidt (Kimberly), Nicole McKone (Matt), Kyra Gardner (Aaron), Logan Schmidt, Lilly Schumacher (Matt) and Colin Klumpyan (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Tori, Bree, Elliot, Claire, Lucy, Wyatt, Kinslee and Micah; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aiden, Brinley and Liam; his siblings, Earl Schmidt (Judy), Carol Kocina and Rachel Kluck; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Schmidt, Carol, Edward Schmidt, Sandy, Ronnie Stillman and Ronald Uttecht. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
