He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stengl and Avis Stengl (Rusch); and his sisters, Ginger McDowell and Jennifer Steele. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gralla; his children, Matthew Stengl of Superior, Emily Zalewski (Adam) of Moncure, N. C. and Michael Stengl of Wausau; his granddaughters, Adalyn and Hazel Zalewski; his sisters, Audrey Stengl of Dallas, TX and Jean Wheeler (Dan) of Antigo; and his brother-in-law Gary Steele of Hancock.
