He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Breyer and Elfriede Breyer (Westphal); his grandson Garrett Vander Grinten; his brothers, Lloyd (Helen), Richard (Greta) and William Breyer; and his brothers-in-law, James Toby, Robert Clark, Harold Tarras and Dale Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Clark of Homme Home; his children, Paula Vander Grinten (Allan) of Howard, Douglas Breyer (Cindy) of Birnamwood, Karla Willcome (Pete) of Birnamwood and Lisa Fischer (Randy) of Birnamwood; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bierman (Sarah), Jenna Bierman (Ryan Bune), Alison Fischer (Alex Ragle), Miranda Morris (Jimmy), Melanie Fischer, Linda Piszczor (Stan), Dillon Breyer and Derek Breyer (Katelyn Schara); his sister Rosemary Toby of Brookfield; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Breyer, Shirley Clark, Beverly Tarras, Barbara Clark, Janet Carlson (Melvin), Vickie Schwalbach (Richard) and Wayne Clark (Christie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. John Lutheran Church, Birnamwood or the American Red Cross.
