With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Helen Bouwens of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, born in Wittenberg, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 16, 2022 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Matz and Martha Matz (Klitzka); her husband James "Jim" Francis Bouwens; her siblings, Marie Ross and Eugene Matz; her son-in-law Richard Olson, Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon and Ella Matz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ann Olson of Birnamwood and Janet Heinecke (Gary) of Sheboygan Falls; her grandchildren, Richard Olson, Jr. (Megan) of Birnamwood, Crystal Koles (Jamey) of Green Bay, Tina Hass (Robby) of Malone, Scott Heinecke (April) of Glenbulah and Brooke Heinecke (Drew Brunner) of Sheboygan; her great grandchildren, Marcianna, Abigail Olson, Carter, Morgan Koles, Tina Lynn Heinecke, Mayleigh Heinecke and Marjianna Brunner; her brothers, Carl Matz Jr. of Green Bay, Harvey Matz (Charlotte) of Wittenberg and Chet Matz of Eland; and her sisters-in-law, Marge Bouwens and Elsie Matz.
