It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Suwyn of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holstein and Cora Holstein (Bussema); her husband Peter Suwyn; and her daughter Roxanne Hafenbreadl. She is survived by: her son Dennis Suwyn (Debbie VanToll); her son-in-law Dennis Hafenbreadl (Renae); her grandchildren, Heather Suwyn (Dave) and Nickolas Suwyn (Katie); her great grandchildren, Cale and Tinley; her brother John Holstein (Nancy); and her sister-in-law Betty Vlietstra. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home - Birnamwood (445 Main St, Birnamwood, WI 54414). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
