He was predeceased by: his father Duane L. Thiele. He is survived by: his son Nicholas L. Thiele; his mother Nancy A. Thiele; his sisters, Jane E. Thiele (Mark Fitzke), Sara J. Irwin and Rhonda Thiele-Staysniak (Tom Staysniak); and his pet Oscar. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Dan's name.
