It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Luella Olson of Birchwood, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Engelbrecht and Lydia Engelbrecht (Blass); her husband Lloyd Oscar Olson Sr.; and her siblings, Frieda Kamrowski, Margaret Holmes, Clarence, Ervin, Adolf, Rudy and Robert Engelbrecht.
She is survived by: her children, Lenore Appollo (Ron Kaiser) of Altoona, WI, Lena Leonard (Paul) of Fayetteville, AR, Linda Campbell of Hayward, WI, Lloyd Olson Jr. of Birchwood, WI and Lisa Applebee (Rodney) of Exeland, WI; her sister Mary Berman of Eau Claire, WI; and her sister-in-law Anna Stoughtenberg of Elk River, MN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hayward Funeral Home (15571w Co Hwy B, Hayward, WI 54843). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
