He is survived by: his wife Kris; his son Josef; and his siblings, Debra Sirek (Steve) of Birchwood, Jeanne Schullo of Rice Lake, Cindy Doyen (Steve) of Birchwood, Peggy Eiselt (Mike) of Stillwater, MN, Penny Doty (David) of Cottage Grove, MN, Toby Hovde (Mary) of Westboro, Tim Hovde (Cheryl) of Birchwood, Thad Hovde (Billie) of Birchwood and Geff Hovde. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Gerry and I had many conversations through the years as I lay on his table getting crunched. He always had a smile on his face, no matter what the day. His boundless energy was amazing.
