He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Vick of Rocky Mount and Cornelia Thomas Vick (Connie) of Big Bend, Wisconsin.; his wife Anita Prichard; his grandson Kris Lester; and his brother Ralph.

He is survived by: his sister Joan Wanless; his daughters, Kathryn Lester (Edwin) and Karyn Frantziskonis (George); his grandchild Kylee Mosman (Doug); his stepgrandchildren, Jahna and Elias Frantziskonis; and his great grandchildren, Madelaine Lester, Andrew and Kaiden Mosman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
