He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Chikowski and Mary Chikowski (Marshall); his siblings, Donald (Lenora), Raymond (Beatrice), Victoria (Harry Melger) and Edmond Chikowski; his niece Dorri Engebretson; and his nephews, Joe, Robert Chikowski and John Klapperich.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Bartol; and his sister-in-law Angeline Chikowski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
A memorial has been established in Sig's memory.
