He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Disterhaft and Isabelle Disterhaft (Strebelinski); his siblings, Florian, Michael and Elaine; his brothers-in-law, Vilas and Tony; and his mother-in-law Lucile.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Trochinski; his children, Dimitria Van Straten (Matt), Darleen Duel (Jason), Derrick (Michelle), Dominick and Doreen Persha (Joe); his sister Mary Jane; and his sisters-in-law, Doria and Marie. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
