She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schonasky and Viola Schonasky (Ely); her former husband Armond Ristau; her husband Wallace Zernia; her son Donald Ristau (Sylvia); her siblings, William Schonasky, George Schonasky and Shirley Hayes (Robert); her sister-in-law Virginia Schonasky; and her daughter-in-law Colleen Ristau.
She is survived by: her brother Donald Schonasky; and her children, John Ristau (Linda) of Libby, MT, Robert Ristau of Berlin, WI, Raymond Ristau (Janet) of Redgranite, WI, Nancy Sennott (Kevin) of Saunemin, IL, Amy Hoover of Waupaca, WI and Jean Barzano of Berlin, WI. She is also survived by 26 Grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home (116 S Adams Ave, Berlin, WI 54923). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
